AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE BY
ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 193 THERETO R.P.C.734
SECTION ONE: That Section 18.152.070 shall be amended
by adding the following to the Redlands Municipal Code:
18.152.070 Projections into Yards
I . In all residential zones where the sideyard of an
existing residence is nonconforming with the
sideyard provisions of the zone, additions to the
residence may be permitted to be built along the
same horizontal plane as the nonconforming sideyard
provided the following conditions are met:
1 . The square footage of the addition does not
exceed fifty (50) percent of the square footage
of the existing unit.
2. All other provisions of the zone district,
especially maximum coverage by structures, and
rear yard requirements, are complied with.
3 . In no case shall the addition be less than
three (3) feet from the property line.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect as provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published once
in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circula-
tion printed and published in this City.

City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day
of Decemberr, 1988, by the following vote:
