AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING ZONING
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 201 , RELATING TO BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL
OFFICE USES WITHIN C-1 AND C-2 ZONES, THERETO
R.P.C. NO. 755
SECTION ONE: That the City of Redlands Municipal Code shall be
amended by adding the following:
Section 18.84 .040 .A.2 - Business and Professional Offices
subject to approval of a conditional Use Permit in the C-1 zone as
follows:
Section 18.84 .040 .A.2 Services
A. Barber
B. Beautician
C. Business and Professional Office subject to approval of a
conditional use permit and finding that the use will not
have a detrimental effect upon other businesses or nearby
residential uses in the area and/or that business and
professional offices do not become a major or predominant
use within a given C-1 zoned area.
D. Cleaners, laundry; pickup service
E. Laundromat
F. Shoe repair
Section 18.88 .100 .A.3 - Business and Professional Offices
subject to approval of a conditional use permit to the C-2 zone as
follows
Section 18.88 .100 .A.3 Services
A. Automobile Services Station, minor repairs only, with no
outdoor display of merchandise.
B. Barber
C. Beautician
D. Branch Bank
E. Business and Professional Office subject to approval of a
conditional us permit and finding that the use will not
have detrimental effect upon other businesses or nearby
residential uses in the area and/or that business and
professional offices do not become a major or predominant
use within a given C-2 zoned area.
F. Cleaner/laundry
G. Laundromat
H. Shoe repair
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation printed and published
in this City.

the foregoing ordinance was duly adopted by the City Council at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of April, 1990 , by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Cunningham, Larson, Milson;
Mayor DeMirjyn
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Beswick
