HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_2178_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 2178 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 18. 144 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT NO. 216 RELATING TO GRADING RESTRICTIONS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: That Section 18. 144 .280 of the City of Redlands Municipal Code be amended as follows: "SECTION 18. 144 . 280 GRADING RESTRICTIONS It is intended that there be a minimum of grading involved in the development of a planned residential development project. Where grading is found necessary to improve the overall development of the site, all cut-and-fill slopes shall not exceed 3 : 1, i.e. three horizontal to one vertical. In the HD (Hillside Development) District, a 2 : 1 slope may be allowed by the Planning Commission when found to be in conformance with Sections 18 . 144 . 010 and 18. 192 . 070 of the Redlands Municipal Code. All other provisions of the Redlands Grading Code shall apply. " SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this City.
