HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_2236_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 2236 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 18.12 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT NO. 226 RELATING TO EXCEPTIONS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION REVIEW PROCESS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: That the City of Redlands Municipal Code shall be amended by adding Section 18.12.190 as follows: "18.12.190 Exceptions to Review Process The following projects may be administratively approved by the Community Development Director and, at the discretion of the Community Development Director, may not be required to be reviewed by the Planning Commission as otherwise provided for in this chapter. A. Residential construction of triplex and fourplex projects. B. Office, commercial and industrial projects as follows: 1. New construction which is under 500 square feet in area and does not exceed one story. 2. Additions to existing one story developments, which are less than 500 square feet in area, and do not exceed 50 percent of the existing floor area." SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this City.
