AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING A REVISED LAND USE ZONING PLAN AS PART DS
O

THE OFFICIAL LAND USE ZONING MAP AND EFFECTING ZONE CHANGE NO. 365 OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain:
SECTION ONE: Public hearings having been held before the Planning Commission of the
City of Redlands and the City Council of the City of Redlands pursuant to the California
Conservation and Planning Act and Title 18 of the Redlands Municipal Code, the boundaries as
shown on Supplement Map No. 365 attached hereto, are hereby approved and adopted as part of the
Official Land Use Zoning Map as provided for in Section 18.16.020 of the Redlands Municipal
Code and on file in the Office of Planning and Community Development of the City of Redlands.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance establishes a change of zoning classification from R-S,
Suburban Residential - 10,000 square foot lots, District and R-E, Residential Estate - 14
foot lots, District to A-1, Agricultural - five-acre lots, District on a 6.0 acre lot at El square
Carmelo
Retreat. The remainder of the Highland Avenue frontage of El Carmelo Retreat will be changed
from R-S, Suburban Residential - 10,000 square foot lots, District to R-E, Residential Estate -
14,000 square foot lots, District. El Carmelo Retreat is located on the south side of Highland
Avenue, west of the Interstate 10 Freeway. Said change of zone is in conformity with the General
Plan.
SECTION THREE: The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the Ci the

adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of April, 1998, by the
