AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 18.168 OF
THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO LANDSCAPING, FENCES, WALLS
AND SIGNS OF THE CITY'S ZONING CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 18.168.060 Miner exception permits - Fences and walls of the
Redlands Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows.
"Minor exceptions pertaining to garden or retaining wall heights, solar collector or
storage tank installations, grading standards and protective swimming pool fencing
may be granted by a committee composed of the Community Development Director,
or the Director's designated representative, and two members of the Planning
Commission."
Section 2. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter, this
ordinance shall take effect as provided by law.

adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of December, 2003,
by the following vote:
