AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1000 OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS BY ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 48 THERETO
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows :
SECTION ONE; That Zoning Ordinance No . 1000 of the City of Redlands
be and is hereby amended by adopting Amendment No. 48 which amends a
section as follows :
SECTION 21.10 : USES PERMITTED
D. PERMITTED BY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
Incidental commercial uses clearly related and subordinated
to the permitted offices which provide services for tenants
and patrons of the building in which they are located. Such
uses may include, but not be limited to, coffee shops , pre-
scription pharmacies , medical and sickroom supplies , subject
to the following applicable requirements and conditions

a Uses shall be located within the main buildings,
b No external signs or displays permitted.
�c Customer access to be from within the building,
dl Total floor area of all incidental commercial uses
not to exceed ten per cent (10%) of the gross floor
area of the building.
(e) One parking space to be provided for each 100 square
feet of incidental commercial floor area in addition
to the required parking for main building.
(f) A usable loading space shall be provided with access
to a dedicated alley or way acceptable to the Commis-
sion. Said loading space shall be screened from
public view and not located in any required yard.
(g) All. commercial and loading activities shall be con-
ducted between the hours of 6 A,M. and 6 P.M. with
no such activities permitted on Sunday.
SECTION TWO : Before adopting this Ordinance, the City Council held a
public hearing, notice of which was published in the City of Redlands
on the ZC_ day of 1964, 7 days before the
hearing.
SECTION THREE: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law,
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the adopting of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this
city,

I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
by the City Council of the City of Redlands at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 17+.h of - March 1964 , by
the following vote -
AYES : Councilmen Burroughs , Martinez , Wagner, Hartzell ; Mayor Parker
NOES : None
