A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT NO. 1 AGREEMENT
PERTAINING TO TOPICS PROJECT NO T-3064-(1) FOR IMPROVING
THE INTERSECTIONS OF REDLANDS BOULEVARD WITH HIGHLAND AVENUE
AND ORANGE STREET.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands
as follows -
SECTION ONE- The Mayor of the City of Redlands is hereby
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said City,
Program Supplement No 1, to be incorporated into the Master
Agreement for the TOPICS Program which was entered into
between the City of Redlands and the State of California on
August 3, 1971. A copy of Program Supplement No. 1 is
attached hereto, and referred to and made a part hereof
as fully as though set forth at length herein.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of May , 1972.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Redlands at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of May

Pursuant to the Urban Area Traffic Operations Improvement Act (commencing with Section 2300
of the Streets and highways Code) and to Section 135 of Title 23 U S Code, the attached "Pro-
gram" of Traffic Operations Improvements marked "Exhibit A" is hereby incorporated in that

Special Covenants or Remarks 1 All maintenance, involving the physical condition and the operation of the improvements, referred to
in Article VII MAINTENANCE of the aforementioned Master Agreement will be performed by
the City of Redlands at regular intervals or as required for efficient
operation of the completed improvements
2. The City will act as the Administrator for the Project.
3 The actual funds for the Project will be set up on the basis of contract prices after bids for the
work have been opened. The City agrees to use maximum Federal Funds participation and accepts any
increase in Local Agency funds
4. The Local Agency's share of costs for the work requested to be performed by the State can be
advance deposited or progress billed.
5. In accordance with State Standard Specifications for testing controllers the Local Agency agrees
to pay their share of the cost of testing.
