RESOLUTION NO. 2875 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 15 TO THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has pre- pared an amendment to the General Plan and adopted such amendment in Resolution R.P.C. No 340 after holding a public hearing upon notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS Resolution No. 340, a copy of which is attached hereto, has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands; and WHEREAS on the 10th day of April, 1971, notice of Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and WHEREAS on this 20th day of April, 1971, the City Council has held a duly advertised public hearing concerned with the proposed amendment to said General Plan; and WHEREAS following said Public Hearing the City Council declares that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety and general welfare; and WHEREAS all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the amendment of a general plan have been complied with, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands; That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Planning Com- mission in Resolution No. 340 shall be adopted as follows. AMENDMENT NO. 15 TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS 1. That the area bounded by Lugonia Avenue, Wabash Avenue, Citrus Avenue, and Lincoln Street is now designated for restricted industry -agriculture, agriculture, and low density residential purposes. 2 That changing trends in land use indicate that it would be necessary and desirable to delete the restricted industry - agriculture designation, reduce the agriculture designation; extend the low density residential designation; and add a medium density residential designation for the area bounded by Colton Avenue, Dearborn Street and the A.T. & S.F. and S.P.
