WHEREAS, the City of Redlands Personnel Rules and Regulations
guarantee city employees ten holidays per year, to be administra-
tively determined each year; and
WHEREAS Chapter 7, Section 6700 of the Government Code of the
State of California has been amended to authorize cities to specify
certain holidays each year;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS
THAT Section 6700 of the Government Code covering the appoint-
ment of holidays shall be applicable to the City of Redlands in
determining holidays for city employees.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this l9th day of January, 1971
