HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1681_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 1681 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1000 OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS BY ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 138 THERETO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain: SECTION 1 . That Zoning Ordinance No. 1000 of the City of Redlands , Section 43 . 20 (a) 3 , shall be amended as follows : Section 43 . 20 : REGULATIONS OF LOCATION AND HEIGHT (a) Permitted Fences and Walls : 3. Open fences as defined in paragraph 1 of this section that are over six (6) feet in height may be located in the rear half of the lot sub- ject to a commission finding that such a fence will not constitute a nuisance to abutting pro- perty owners . Such fences up to sixteen (16) feet in height located within the buildable rear yard area of a lot and not less than ten (10) feet from any property line are exempt from the requirement. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this city.
