AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1000 OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS BY ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 56 THERETO
The City Council of the City of Red-.ands does ordain as follows :
SECTION ONE: That Zoning Ordinance No. 1000 of the City of Redlands
be and is hereby amended by adopting Amendment No. 56 which amends a
section as follows :
SECTION 9000 RESIDENTIAL PARKING SPACE REQUIREMENTS
Subsection A. Add the following,
(a) Each required parking space shall be covered and have
dimensions not less than ten (10) feet in width and
twenty (20) feet in length.
Subsection B. Amend as follows :
(b) In the R-2 , R-2-20009 R-3 and A-P Districts (when used
for residential purposes ) there shall be not less than
the following number of parking spaces
No bedroom and one bedroom units . . . .. . . . . 1
Two or more bedroom units00a . 0000 . . . 000 . 2
In addition, all multiple residential projects in the
R-2 and R-2-2000 districts containing twelve (12) or
more units per lot of record shall provide one (1)
uncovered off-street parking space for each two (2)
units or fraction thereof.
SECTION TWO: Before adopting this Ordinance, the City Council held a
public hearing, notice of which was published in the City of Redlands
on the _f_ 2 day of 1964, j days before the hearing.
SECTION THREEn This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the adopting of this
ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in this city.
