AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 56 . 00 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 1000 PERTAINING TO ZONING
VIOLATIONS (RECODIFICATION PROJECT)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain:
SECTION ONE: Section 56.00 of ordinance No. 1000 of the
City of Redlands, the Zoning Ordinance, is amended to
provide as follows:
SECTION 56.00 : PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION
No person shall violate any of the
provisions, or fail to comply with any of
the requirements of this Ordinance. Any
person, firm or corporation violating any
of the provisions or failing to comply
with the requirements of this Ordinance
is guilty of an infraction; provided,
however, that any person, firm or
corporation who violates any of the
provisions or fails to comply with any of
the requirements of this Ordinance and
has previously been convicted two or more
times during any continuous twelve ( 12)
month period for any crime made punish-
able by this Ordinance shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor . Such person, firm or
corporation shall be deemed guilty of a
separate offense for each and every day
during any portion of which any violation
of this Ordinance is committed or
continued by such person, firm or
corporation, and shall be punishable as
herein provided.
SECTION TWO: Ordinance No. 1692 of the City of Redlands
is hereby repealed.
SECTION THREE: This ordinance shall be in force and
take effect as provided by law.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it or a summary of it
to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper
of general circulation printed and published in this City.
