AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO, 1000 OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS BY ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO, 45 THERETO
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows -.
SECTION ONE: That Zoning Ordinance No. 1000 of the City of Redlands be
and Is hereby amended by adopting Amendment No. 45 which amends a see-
tion as follows ;

EXCEPTIONS - PROJECTION INTO YARDS
A portion of the main building not to exceed thirty (30) feet in
width or an attached garage may project into the required rear yard
area to within ten (10) feet of the rear property line if a rear
yard open space having a minimum dimension of twenty-five (25) feet
and containing a minimum area of 1500 square feet for the R-1 and
R-l-D districts ; 2100 square feet for the R-S district ; and 2500
square feet for the R-E and R-A districts is provided, Said rear
yard open space shall be located to the rear of the front setback
line and may not contain any detached accessory buildings ,
No permitted projection shall be located closer than ten (10) feet
from any existing or potential structure on abutting residential
properties,
SECTION TWO . Before adopting this Ordinance , the City Council held a
public hearing, notice of which was published in the City of Redlands
on the ' day of , January , 1964, 7 days before the hearing.
SECTION THREE-. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law.
SECTION FOUR-. The City Clerk shall certify to the adopting of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this
city.
