AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1000 OF THE
CITY OF REDLANDS BY ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 150 THERETO
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION ONE: That Ordinance No. 1000 of the City of Redlands,
Sections 14 . 40 , 15. 40, 16 . 20 (G) , and 17 . 20 (G) pertaining to side yard
regulations in the R-A, R-E, R-S, and R-1 Districts, be hereby amended
as follows:
SECTION 14 .40 SIDE YARDS
Each lot shall have a side yard of not less than five (5)
feet on one side and not less than ten (10) feet on the opposite
side; provided, however, an interior lot shall have not less than
a ten (10) foot level side yard on the garage side. A corner lot
shall have the garage adjacent to the interior lot line with not
less than a ten (10) foot level side yard.

SECTION 15. 40 SIDE YARDS
Each lot shall have a side yard of not less than five (5)
feet on one side and not less than ten (10) feet on the opposite
side; provided, however, an interior lot shall have not less than
a ten (10) foot level side yard on the garage side. A corner lot
shall have the garage adjacent to the interior lot line with not
less than a ten (10) foot level side yard.

SECTION 16 . 20 : PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS
G. SIDE YARD
Each lot shall have a side yard of not less than five (5)
feet on one side and not less than ten (10) feet on the opposite
side; provided, however, an interior lot shall have not less than
a ten (10) foot level side yard on the garage side. A corner lot
shall have the garage adjacent to the interior lot line with not
less than a ten (10) foot level side yard.
For lots containing less than the required minimum frontage,
the aggregate side yard dimensions shall be not less than twenty
(20) percent of the width of the lot; provided, however, the
minimum side yard on either side shall be not less than five (5)
feet.

SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this
city.
