AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1000 OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
BY ADOPTING AN ADDITIONAL LAND USE DISTRICT MAP AS PART OF THE
OFFICIAL LAND USE ZONING MAP AND EFFECTING ZONE CHANGE NO. 306
R.P.C. NO. 697
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain:
SECTION 1 . Public hearings having been held before the
Planning Commission of the City of Redlands and the City Council
of the City of Redlands pursuant to California Conservation and
Planning Act and Ordinance No. 1000 of the City of Redlands, the
Zone District as shown on Land Use District Map entitled "City of
Redlands Zoning Map, " Supplement Map No. 306 attached hereto, is
hereby approved, and said Map is hereby adopted as a part of the
Official Land use zone Map as provided in Section 9 of Ordinance
No. 1000 and on file in the Office of the Planning Commission of
the City of Redlands.
SECTION 2 This ordinance establishes a change of zone from
"T" (Transitional) District to R-2 (Multiple Family Residential)
District for approximately 7. 4 acres of property at the following
locations:
1 . On the west side of Nordina Street from 220 through 226
Nordina Street and from 240 through 330 Nordina Street;
2. On the west side of La Verne Street from 424 through 454 La
Verne Street;
3 . 20 West Home Place;
4 . On the east side of Fourth Street from 237 through 315 Fourth
Street;
5 . On the east side of Fourth Street from 439 through 457 Fourth
Street;
6. On the north side of Fern Avenue from 9 through 25 East Fern
Avenue;
and a change of zone from "T" (Transitional ) District to R-S
(Suburban Residential) District for approximately 2 . 0 acres of
property at the following locations:
1. On the east side of Fourth Street between Home Place and
Cypress Avenue;
2. 18, 18-1/2, and 28 West Cypress Avenue.
Said Changes of zones to R-2 (Multiple Family Residential) and R-S
(Suburban Residential) Districts would be in conformity with the
General Plan.
SECTION 3 . Effective Date: This ordinance shall be in force
and take effect as provided by law.
SECTION 4 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed
and published in this City.
