A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING FEES FOR RENTAL OF THE CITY'S ATHLETIC FIELDS
AND FACILITIES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows
Section 1 Intent It is the City's intent that rental and access fees for its athletic fields
and facilities be set based on both the City's existing agreements for the same, as well as the fees
charged by other competing purveyors of similar rental facilities The City's athletic fields and
facilities compete in an open market In order to do so, and to compensate the City and its citizenry
to the full potential supported by the open market, fees for such access should be comparable to
those charged by entities making available to the public similar facilities Accordingly, the City
Council, by adoption of this Resolution, establishes fees for the use and rental of the City facilities
described in the attached Exhibit "A "
Section 2 CEQA Exemption The City Council hereby finds and determines that the
adoption of this Resolution is exempt from review and under the California Environmental Quality
Act ("CEQA") pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21080(b)(8)(1) and CEQA Guidelines
Section 15273 because this Resolution relates to fees and charges for the purpose of meeting the
operating expenses of the City
Section 3 Effective Date This Resolution, and the fees established by this Resolution,
shall become effective on November 2, 2021
