HomeMy WebLinkAbout2190RESOLUTION NO. 2190 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CLOSE A PORTION OF MARVIN SVENUE. STREET CLOSURE NO. 33 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proce d under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a part of a street in the manner provid;d therein. SECTION TWO: This City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of a portion of Marvin Avenue described as follows: All that portion of Marvin Avenue lying north of the southerly line of and within Lot 26 of Crafts Map of a portion of Redlands Heights as said map is recorded in Book 11 of Maps, Page 16 thereof, records of San Bernardino County, State of California. SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this Council for the vacation of the portion of street described in Section 2, the City of Redlands reserves and excepts from the vacation the permanent easement and right at any tin, or from time to time, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures in, upon, over and across any street or part thereof proposed to be vacated od pursuant to any existing franchises or renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wireS, poles and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, railroad lines, and for the trans- portation or distribution of electric energy, petroleum, and its products, ammonia, water, and incidental purposes, including access and the right to keep the property free from inflammable materials, and wood growth, and otherwise protect the same from hazards in,upon and over the street or part of street proposed to be vacated. SECTION FOUR: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the portion of the street described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FIVE: A map setting out the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of the 'Department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION SIX: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing on the above -described street closing at 7:00 P.M. on the 3rd day of April, 1962 in the regular meeting place of the City Council in the City Hall, Redlands, California. SECTION SEVEN s Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution shall be published in the Redlandb. Daily -Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
