A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING A 235 FOOT `NO -PARKING ZONE' ON THE 9TH STREET
CUL-DE-SAC BETWEEN CENTRAL AVENUE AND STUART AVENUE
PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, pursuant to studies made under the authonty of Title 10 of the Redlands
Mumcipal Code, and the presentation of information contained in such studies, the City Council
of the City of Redlands ("this City Council") has determined that certain traffic regulations are
necessary to protect the public health, safety and welfare and should be established pursuant to
Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 This City Council determines that approval of this Resolution is exempt
from environmental review under California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to
State CEQA Guidelines section 15301(c) which provides exemption for minor alterations of
existing public streets and sidewalks This City Council finds with certainty that the improvements
involve negligible or no expansion of an existing use
Section 2 Pursuant to Section 10 40.090 of the Redlands Mumcipal Code, this City
Council hereby establishes no parking zones for approximately 235 feet along the cul-de-sac of
9th Street between Central Avenue and Stuart Avenue
Section 3 City staff is hereby directed to post the appropriate signage and markings to
implement this Resolution as of its effective date
