The board of trustees of the City of Redlands do ordain as follows :—
Section 1:— It shall be. unlawful for the owner or occupant
of any lot ,piece or parcel of land abutting upon any of the streets
hereinafter named ill which there is a sewer system or pipe f or the
conducting of sewerage,to maintain,br to allow,or permit to exist
upon such lot ,piece or parcel of land,a.ny water closet,urinal or
sink or place designated fhz azz or used as a receptacle for refuse
matter ,offal or human excrement except the same be connected rich
such sewer system or pipe for the conducting of sewerage in accordance
with the provisions of Chapter VITT of Ordinance No.28I of the city
off' Redlands. �

Section 2:— Any place ,water closet ,urinal or sink maintained
or used in violation of section 1 of this ordinancei.s hereby* declared
to be a public nuisance.
Section 3 :— The provisions of this ordinance shall apply to
the followin# streets and avenues in said city,to wit :—
Citrus Avenue from Fourth to Fifth streets;Fifth street from
Fast Citrus Avenue to Fast Central Avenue ;Central Avenue from

Fourth to Fifth streets ;Fast State street from Fifth to Sixth street ;
Olive Avenue ;

end Yaxma Cajon strett from Vine street to present paving on Cajon
;street.
Section 4 :— Any person guilty of maintaining a public nuisance

in violation of this ordinance ,and any person violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be pxz1xXiLk1x sg�1ilty of a misde-
meanor and shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding 6 .' (''or by
imprisonment in the city jail not exceeding .L daysor Fy-Foth
such fine and imprisonment.
Section 5 This ordinance shall take ef'f'ect from and after
