POSTING OF VACANT LOTS FOR WED REMOVAL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS HEREBY RESOLVES-
That the owners, lessees or occupants of any buildings, grounds or lots in the
City of Redlands be and they are hereby required to remove dirt, rubbish, weeds
and rank growth from the sidewalks opposite thereto and from the buildings and
grounds.; that the -whole of the City of Redlands, and all of the buildings,
grounds and lots situate and being within the corporate Limits of said City-, is
hereby declared to be the district from which such dirt, rubbish, weeds and rank
growth is to be removed; that the Street Superintendent of the City of Redlands,
or someone designated by him therefor,, shall serve notice of the passage of this
resolution upon the owner, lessees or occupants of the buildings, grounds or lots
from which such dirt,, rubbish., weeds and rank growth are to be removed as pro-
vided in Article 581, Redlands Ordinance Code; Upon failure to remove such dirt,
rubbishp weeds and rank growth 'within the time limit specified in said. notice,
the Street Superintendent shall remove or destroy the same at the expense of
such ownerg lessee or occupant at a mini service charge of $5.00 plus the
actual cost of cleani-ng,, and the expense thereof shall be charges upon the prop-
erty., buildings, grounds or lots upon which the work has been done, and such
expense shall be collectible in the manner provided in said ordinance code.

the foregoing Resolution No. 2112 was duly adopted by the City Council of the
City of Redlands at an adjuumed regulw meeting thereof held on the 14th day
of March, 1961.
