The following uses are herCzy determined to be agricultural and
compatible uses within an agric-ultural preserve, and all Other uses are
prohibited therein;
(1) Agricultural use, described as any use of land for the
purpose of producing an agricultural com,,,10,dity, consisting of any and
all plant and ani-mal products, for coma-iercial purposes, provided such,
use is permitted by the applicable zoning and not prohibited by other
law or ordinance.
(2) Gas, electric, water, and co-,jnau�,icatirorn utility facilities,
and public service facilities of like nature operated by a public agency
or mutual water company.
(3) Public highways.
(4) . Fire protection works and facilities.
(5) Flood control works, including channel rectification and
alteration.
(6) Public works required for fish and wildlife enhancement and
preservation.
(7) 'Improvements for the primary benefit of the lands within the
preserve.
(8) State improvements described in Section 51293, subsections
(f) and (g) of the California Government Code.
(9) One-family dwellings for the use only of an owner or manager
of land within the agricultural preserve, or a person employed on said
land, if such use is permitted by the applicable zoning, but not exceeding
two (2) dwellings for each parcel of not less than; five (5) acres.
(10) Packing or other processing of an agricultural commodity
usually performed on the premises where it is produced.
(11) Any other use, not inconsistent with uses listed in (1)
above, existing on the date the land is included within an agricultural
preserve, but such use once discontinued for two (2) year,-, shall not be
resumed unless permitted under these rules.
(12) "Open space use" as def4ned in California cove-rnr-aent Code
Section 51201.
