HomeMy WebLinkAbout3649_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3649 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING POLICY CRITERIA FOR REMOVAL OF LANDS FROM WITHIN THE AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3546 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands hereby finds and determines that the following conditions shall be found to exist prior to any consideration for removal of land from the Agricultural Preserve. 1. Applicant shall be the legal owner of record.. 2. Land requested to be removed from the Preserve must abut a developed zone other than agricultural. The term developed includes a recorded subdivision, a finalized application as defined in Ordinance No . 1000, as amended, or projects receiving a building permit allocation. 3. Application is in conformity with the Redlands' General Plan. 4 . Land requested to be removed from the Preserve shall not circumvent land under contract in accordance with the California Land Conservation Act of 1965 . 5. Development adjoining contract land shall be permitted only in a pattern that assures the shortest common boundary with fencing provided as necessary to mitigate the impact of urban development on continued agricultural use.
