A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE BOUNDARIES AS PREVIOUSLY
ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO. 3746
AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE REMOVAL NO. 45
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has established certain agri-
cultural preserves; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is authorized to establish
agricultural preserves pursuant to the California Land Conserva-
tion Act of 1965; and
WHEREAS, land to be included within the Agricultural Preserves
is used for the purpose of producing agricultural commodities for
commercial purposes and compatible uses ; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 3649 , adopted by the City Council of
the City of Redlands on February 19 , 1980, establishes policy
criteria for removal of lands from within the Agricultural Pre-
serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the real property located
in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of Cali-
fornia, as definitively set forth in the amended map prepared by
the Department of Planning and Community Development and filed on
October 16 , 1981 in Book 8 , Page 9_, of Miscellaneous
Maps , Document No. 81-2293991in the San Bernardino County
Recorder' s Office, which is incorporated by reference herein, is
hereby designated and established as Agricultural Preserves within
the meaning of and pursuant to the Land Conservation Act of 1965,
as amended.
Parcel identified by July, 1981 , San Bernardino County Asses-
sor' s Parcel No . 174-491-29 is therefore deleted from Agricultural
Preserve as established by Resolution No. 3746.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Redlands ,
State of California, by the following vote of the City Council of
the City of Redlands, this 6th day of October, 1981 :
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Riordan, Roth; Mayor DeMirjyn
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Martinez
