A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE BOUNDARIES PREVIOUSLY
ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO. 4003
AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE REMOVAL NO. 62
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has established certain agricultural
preserves; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is authorized to establish agri-
cultural preserves pursuant to the California Land Conservation Act
of 1965; and
WHEREAS, land to be included within the Agricultural Preserves
is used for the purpose of producing agricultural commodities for
commercial purposes and compatible uses; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 3649 adopted by the City Council of the
City of Redlands on February 19, 1980, establishes policy criteria
for removal of lands from within the Agricultural Preserves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Redlands that;
1. The applicant is the legal owner of record;
2. The land requested to be removed from the Preserve abuts
a developed zone other than agricultural;
3 . The application is in conformity with the Redlands' Gen-
eral Plan;
4 . The land requested to be removed from the Preserve does
not circumvent land under contract in accordance with the
California Land Conservation Act of 1965 ;
5. Development adjoining contract land is in a pattern that
assures the shortest common boundary with fencing provided
as necessary to mitigate the impact of urban development
on continued agricultural use; and
6 . The real property located in the City of Redlands, County
of San Bernardino, State of California as definitely set
forth in the amended map prepared by the Department of
Planning and Community Development and filed on
January 4, 1985 , in Book 9 , Page 7 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Document No.84---092320, in the San
Bernardino County Recorder ' s Office , which is incorporated
by reference herein, is hereby designated and established
as Agricultural Preserves within the meaning of and pursu-
ant to the Land Conservation Act of 1965, as amended.
Parcels identified by July, 1984 , San Bernardino County
Assessors Parcels Nos. 1.67-071-04 , 167-071-05, 167-071-17,
167-071-18, 167-071-20, 167-071-21 , and 167-041-13 are
therefore deleted from the Agricultural Preserve as
established by Resolution No. 4003 .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of December, 1984.
