A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING
AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE BOUNDARIES PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED BY
RESOLUTION NO. 4131
AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE REMOVAL NO. 69
WHEREAS , the City of Redlands has established certain
agricultural preserves; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is authorized to establish
agricultural preserves pursuant to the California Land Conservation
Act of 1965; and
WHEREAS, land to be included within the Agricultural Preserves
is used for the purpose of producing agricultural commodities for
commercial purposes and compatible uses; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 3649, adopted by the City Council of
the City of Redlands on February 19 , 1980 , establishes policy
criteria for removal of lands from within the Agricultural Preserves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Redlands that:
1 . The applicant is the legal owner of record;
2 . The land requested to be removed from the Preserve abuts a
developed zone other than agricultural;
3 . The application is in conformity with the Redlands '
General Plan;
4 . The land requested to be removed from the Preserve does
not circumvent land under contract in accordance with the
California Land Conservation Act of 1965;
5 . Development adjoining contract land is in a pattern that
assures the shortest common boundary with fencing provided `
as necessary to mitigate the impact of urban development
on continued agricultural use; and

6 . That the real property located in the City of Redlands ,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as
definitely set forth in the amended map prepared by the
Department of Planning and Community Development,
Exhibit A which is incorporated by reference herein ,
is hereby designated and established as Agricultural
Preserves within the meaning of and pursuant to the Land
Conservation Act of 1965 , as amended .
Parcel identified by July , 1985 , San Bernardino County
Assessor ' s Parcel No. 168-271-04 is therefore deleted
from the Agricultural Preserve as established by
Resolution No. 4131 .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of January , 1986 .
