HomeMy WebLinkAbout4615_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 4615 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE BOUNDARIES PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO. 4607 AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE REMOVAL NO. 79 WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has established certain agricultural preserves; and WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is authorized to establish agricultural preserves pursuant to the California Land Conservation Act of 1965; and WHEREAS, land to be included within the Agricultural Preserves is used for the purpose of producing agricultural commodities for commercial purposes and compatible uses; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 3649 , adopted by the City Council of the City of Redlands on February 19 , 1980 , establishes policy criteria for removal of lands from within the Agricultural Preserves; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands that: 1 . The applicant is the legal owner of record; 2. The land requested to be removed from the Preserve abuts a developed zone other than agricultural; 3 . The application is in conformity with the Redlands ' General Plan; 4. The land requested to be removed from the Preserve does not circumvent land under contract in accordance with the California Land Conservation Act of 1965 ; 5 . Development adjoining contract land is in a pattern that assures the shortest common boundary with fencing provided as necessary to mitigate the impact of urban development on continued agricultural use; and 6. That the real property located in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, as definitely set forth in the amended map prepared by the Department of Planning and Community Development, Exhibit "A" which is incorporated by reference herein, is hereby designated and established as Agricultural Preserves within the meaning of and pursuant to the Land Conservation Act of 1965, as amended. 4 f Parcel identified by July, 1989 , San Bernardino County Assessor ' s Parcel No. 174-201-05 is therefore deleted from the Agricultural Preserve as established by Resolution No. 4607 . ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 6th day of March, 1990 .
