This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for the preparation of a City-
wide water system master plan services ("Agreement"), dated September 1, 2020, by and between
the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation and a general law city ("City"), and Michael Baker
International, Inc., a Pennsylvania corporation ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 21St
day of December, 2021
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend Article 3.2 of the Agreement
to update the name of the City's representative from former representative Rudolph S Chow, to
the current representative, John R. Harris, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend Article 4.2 of the
Agreement to extend the date for termination of the Services to March 31, 2022,
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledge City and Consultant agree as follows
AGREEMENT
Section 1 Section 3.2 of the Agreement, titled "Responsibilities of City," is hereby
amended to read as follows.
"3.2 City designates John R. Harris, Municipal Utilities and Engineering Department Director,
as City's representative with respect to performance of the Services, and such person shall
have the authority to transmit instructions, receive information, interpret and define City's
policies and decisions with respect to performance of the Services."
Section 2. Section 4.2 of the Agreement, titled "Performance of Services," is hereby
amended to read as follows.
"4.2 Consultant shall complete the Services by March 31, 2022, unless the Services are
terminated earlier as provided for herein."
Section 3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment and in effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective
as of December 21, 2021
