A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
SUPPORTING ALL ELEMENTS OF THE ALL-RIVER PLAN ON THE SANTA
ANA RIVER FROM PRADO DAM TO THE PACIFIC OCEAN
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS resolves as follows:
WHEREAS, the enlargement of the Prado Dam and channel
improvements in Orange County, the flood plain management in
Santiago Creek, improvement in the Oak Street Drain and improve-
ment of the Mill Creek Levy are necessary for the future health
and safety of residents of Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino
Counties ; and
WHEREAS, the above elements of the All-River Plan do not
have a negative impact on the residents of the City of Redlands;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redlands endorses the Corps of Engineers ' work identified
above provided that nothing in this resolution be interpreted as
a change from the City of Redlands ' opposition as stated in
Resolution No . 3785 to the construction of the Mentone Dam as
proposed in the Phase I General Design Memorandum.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of March, 1983 .
