HomeMy WebLinkAbout2233_CCv0001.pdf RESuLUTION NO. 2233 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A :PORTION OF All ALLEY OFF CENTRAL AVENUE IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF REDUNDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacaLe a part of an alley in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of a portion of an alley off Central Avenue descriued as foll.amss: All of that alley in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, being a portion of Lot 2$, Block ?7, Rancho San Bernardino as recorded in Book 7, Page 2, Records of said County, being also 20 feet in width and lying midway between Orange Street and Fourth Street extending north from the north line of Central Avenue a distance of 90 feet, as said streets are shown on the map of Central. Avenue Opening and Widening, Ordinance No. 773, as approved by City Council, January 3, 1934. SECTION THREE: The City Council heroby detex-,rrines that the vacation of the portion of the alley described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. MCTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed alley vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing on the above described street closing at 7:00 P.M. on the 2nd day of October, 1962 in the regular meeting place of the City Council in the City Hall, Redlands, California. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
