A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CLOSE UP AN ALLEY IN TRACT
NO. 1982, CRESCENT HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION,, IN THE CITY OF REEL ANDS,
CALIFORNIA.
RESOLVED, that the public Interest, convenience and necessity
require, and that it is the intention of the City Council of the
C,ity of Redlands 1.'o order the closing up of that certain fifteen
( 15) foot alley, being between Lots 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 and 44 on
the north side and Lots 33, 34, 55# 36, 37 and 38 on the south side,
said alley being in Tract No. 1982, Crescent Heights Subdivision, as
per plat recorded in Book 28 of Maps, at Page 73, records of the
CounLtV Recorder of San Bernardino County, California, reserving
however, an easement over said alley unto the City of Redlands, for
sanitary sewers, gas lines and water lines purposes.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the lands affected and benefited by said
work and improvement and the closing up of said alley and the lands
to be assessed to pay the damages, cost and expenses thereof, shall
embrace all that certain real property situate In the City of
Redlands , County of San Bernardino, State of California, lying within
a district, the exterior boundaries of which aredeacribed as follows,
to-wit:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 38 Tract
No. 1892, Cre-geent Heights, as per plat recorded in Book 28
of Maps, at Page 739 recorda of San Bernardino County,
California; thence South 880 061 East, 85 feet; thence
North 560 401 East to southerly line of Monterey Street.;
thence North 780 231 West, 125 feet; thence South 560 401
West to Carob Street; thence South 880 061 East to the point
of beginning.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that notice of the passa;ze of this resolution
be given as provided by an act of the Legislature of the State of
California, entitled* "An Act to provide fox, laying out, opening,
extending, widening, straightening, or closing up in whole or in
part any street, square, lane, alley, court or place within M-unici-
palities and to condemn and acquire any and all land and property
necessary or convenient for that purpose", (Approved Warch 6, 1889 ) ,
and all acts amandatory thereof, and that such notice be published
and circulated In said City.
I hereby certify that tree foregoing resolution was adopted by
the City Council of the, City of Redlands, at a regular meeting
thereof held on the QlLt- day of JU1V
