RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK DONE
CLOSPIG OF ALLEY IN BLOCK 2'4, MAP OF TOWN OF LUGONIA
"W"HEREAS -the City Council of the City ot'Redlands did on the 6th day of September,
1955, duly pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No, 793, declaring the inten-
tion of said City Council to order the closing of the Alleyway within Block 24
of the Map of the Town of Lugonia., recorded in Book 8 of Maps, 1*e 7 thereof.,
records of San Bernardi-no County, California, and further described as follows:
ALL that alleyway within Block 24 as shown on the afore-
said Map of the Town of Lugonia., said alieyway being bounded
on the east by Lots 1 through 5., inclusi,,e, of said Block 24;
and bounded on the west by Lots 12 through 16, inclusive, of
said Block 24. (Block 24 being the site of the former "'Casa.
Loma Hotel.")
WHERFAS. notices of Improvement, stating the fact of the passage of said Reso-
lution, its date., and the work and improvement proposed., and -referring to said
Resolution of Intention for further particulars,, have been published and posted
in the manner provided by law,, and the said City Council has acquired jurisdiction
to order said work to be done,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Redlands
does hereby order the closing of the above described Alleyway within Park
Addition in the City of Redlands.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that no assessment is necessary to pay the damages,
costs and expenses of said work and improvement.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council
of the City of Redlands, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 4th day of
October, 1955, by the following vote, to-wit:
AYE: Councilmen Osbun, ILorlan, Romo., Anderson and Mayor Elkins
NAY: None
ABSENT: -None
