HomeMy WebLinkAbout3710_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3710 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING AMBULANCE RATES TO BE CHARGED WITHIN THE CITY OF REDLANDS AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3368 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: Under the provisions of Section 6, Ordinance No. 1418 , of the City of Redlands, the City Council of the City of Redlands hereby prescribes the following rates for ambulance service within the City of Redlands . SECTION TWO: Rates prescribed for each ambulance used in response to a call: Item Rate One patient $ 70 . 00 Two patients (each) 52 . 50 Three patients (each) 46 . 67 Four patients (each) 43 . 75 Mileage, one way, per mile (from pickup point to hospital) 4 .00 Emergency run charge (additional) 15 . 00 Night call - 7: 00 p.m. to 7 : 00 a.m. (additional) 12. 00 Oxygen (per tank or part of tank) 10 . 00 ** Oxygen mask 3 . 00 ** Waiting time over 15 minutes (each 15 minutes) 10 . 00 ** Resuscitation 15 . 00 ** Cardiopulmonary resuscitation 25 . 00 ** Cases requiring special handling or special services requested by the patient or his representative shall be subject to a charge commensurate with the special service. * Charged for use of each ambulance, regardless of number of patients transported. ** Charged to patient requiring this service. SECTION THREE: The rates established by this resolution will be effective September 7 , 1980. SECTION FOUR: A copy of this resolution will be posted in a conspicuous place within each ambulance.
