A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING AMBULANCE RATES TO BE CHARGED WITHIN THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3845 .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: Under the provisions of Section 5, Ordinance No.
1418, of the City of Redlands, the City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby prescribes the following rates for ambulance service within the
City of Redlands:
SECTION TWO: Rates prescribed for each ambulance used in response
to a call :

Base rate $105 .00
Mileage, one way, per mile
(from pickup point to hospital) 5 .75 *
Emergency run charge (additional) 50. 00 *
Night call - 7:00 p.m. to 7 :00 a.m. (additional) 35 . 00 *
Oxygen (per tank or part of tank) 15 .00 *x
Waiting time over 15 minutes (each 15 minutes) 11 . 00 x
Wheelchair patient 10. 05
Two wheelchair patients 1 :. 83
Three wheelchair patients 10 . 16
Four wheelchair patients 9. 11
Wheelchair use
Attendant 5 . 02
Waiting time over 15 minutes 5 . 14 **
Mileage, one way, per mile 1 . 17
Night call - 7 :00 p.m. to 7 :00 a.m. 5 .58
Oxygen (per tank or part of tank.) 10.54 **
All Inclusive Advanced Life Support Service 250.00 ***
Cases requiring special handling or special services requested by
the patient or his representative shall be subject to a charge
commensurate with the special service.
* Charged for use of each ambulance, regardless of number of
patients transported.
** Charged to patient requiring this service.
*** Charged only when City of Redlands paramedic service is not
available.
SECTION THREE: Resolution No . 3846 is hereby rescinded and the
rates established by this resolution will be effective April 15, 1986.
SECTION FOUR : A copy of this resolution will be posted in a
conspicuous place within each ambulance.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of April , 1986.
