A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4139 TO CORRECT A CLERICAL ERRC%
WHEREAS, on January 7 , 1986 , this City Council adopted
Resolution No. 4139 approving the recommendation of the Redlands
Planning Commission as set forth in R.P.C. Resolution No. 655 ; and
WHEREAS, R.P.C. Resolution No. 655 of the Redlands Planning
Commission recommended to the City Council approval of Amendment
No. 33-D to the General Plan of the City of Redlands, to become
effective upon final adoption of a Specific Plan for the subject
area by Ordinance of the Citv of Redlands: and
WHEREAS, the effective date of General Plan. Amendment No. 33rD
as recommended by the Redlands Planning Commission was
inadvertently omitted from the text of City Council Resolution No.
4139 , which approved the recommendation of the Redlands Planning
Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Redlands that Resolution No. 4139 is hereby amended by the
addition of a final paragraph inadvertently omitted from the
original text of the Resolution, as follows:
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said amendment
shall become effective upon final adoption of
a Specific Plan for the subject area by
Ordinance of the City of Redlands. "

RESOLUTION NO. 4139
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR
ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 33-D TO THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands
has prepared an amendment to the General Alan and adopted
such amendment in R. P.C. Resolution No. 655 , after holding a
public hearing upon notice in accordance with the Government
Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, R. P.C. Resolution No. 655 has been certified to
the City Council of the City of Redlands; and
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of December, 1985, a Notice of
Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and
WHEREAS, on this 7th day of January, 1986 , the City
Council has held a duly advertised public hearing concerned
with the proposed amendment to the said General Plan; and
WHEREAS, following said public hearing, the City Council
declares that the proposed amendment is in the interest of
the public health, safety and general welfare; and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code
relating to the amendment of the General Plan have been
complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redlands:
That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the
Planning Commission in R. P. C. Resolution No . 655 shall be
adopted as follows:
AMENDMENT NO. 33-D TO THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
1. Change the land use designation from Low Density
Residential to Urban Services for approximately 28
acres of property located on the south side of San
Bernardino Avenue 660 feet west of Texas Street.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of January,
1986.
