HomeMy WebLinkAbout4035_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 4035 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR REORGANIZATION TO INCLUDE ANNEXATION NO. 59 TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS, ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LOMA LINDA, AND DETACHMENT FROM THE CITY OF REDLANDS, AND SETTING PUBLIC HEARING THEREON LAFC NO. 2287B WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands adopted Reso- lution No. 3957 on the 20th day of March, 1984 , declaring its inten- tion to annex approximately 405 acres of property generally located north and south of Interstate 10 between Mountain View and the Redlands ' City Limits; and WHEREAS, on the 14th day of November, 1984 , the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Bernardino County approved LAFC No. 2287B, a Reorganization to include Annexation No. 59 to the City of Redlands, Annexation to the City of Loma Linda, and Detachment from the City of Redlands, an inhabited municipal annexation, by adoption of LAFC Resolution No. 1942; and WHEREAS, this annexation was initiated by the City Council of the City of Redlands by adoption of Resolution No. 3957 to contribute to the orderly growth of the City of Redlands, provide the proper Control of street layout, drainage, sanitary sewer design, and ensure the proper use of land in conformity with the overall plan of the City of Redlands; and WHEREAS, the City of Redlands will comply with all requirements of the Local Agency Formation Commission as outlined in LAFC Resolu- tion No. 1942, i .e. adhere to the boundaries as approved; detach the property from County Service Area SL-1 (street lighting) , County Service Area 38 (fire protection) , Improvement Zone G of CSA 38 , County Service Area 70 (county-wide) and Improvement Zone A of CSA 70 (weed abatement) without split of assets or liabilities; and continue County Service Area 110 (Corridor Study) to overlay this area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands that public hearing on this annexation will be held in the City Council Chambers, 212 Brookside Avenue, at 7: 00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 19, 1985; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any owner of land within the terri- tory or any registered voter residing within the territory may file a written protest with the City Clerk of the City of Redlands at any time prior to the conclusion of the hearing; and Such protests must show the date of the signature of the protestor as well as a description sufficient to identify him/ her as a property owner (parcel number) or registered voter (residential address) . If there is no date assigned or the date of the signature is prior to the adoption of this resolution , the protest shall be disregarded. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of February, 1985 .
