A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO, 18 TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS :
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of February, 1963 , the City Council of
the City of Redlands did pass and adopt Resolution No 2358 giving notice
of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of
Redlands , said territory being therein designated as "Annexation No. 181,
said resolution describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to
be annexed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2358 did contain a notice of the
day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear
protests made by any person owning property within the territory pro-
posed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not more than thirty
days from the date of passage of said Resolution ; and
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of March, 1964, at the hour of 7 : 00 P.M.
in the Council Chambers in the Safety Hall of the City of Redlands ,
County of San Bernardino , State of California, said time and place being
the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2358 for hearing of
protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass
upon all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that
protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the
territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assess-
ment roll , nor by public andprivate owners of one-half of the value of
the territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative
body ; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Redlands ,
and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino ;
NOW THEREFORE, the said City Council of the City of Redlands does
hereby approve the annexation hereinafter described to the City of
Redlands , and does hereby further resolve that the said territory be and
is hereby annexed to the City of Redlands .
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of
Redlands is herein approved, is all that territory situated in the
County of San Bernardino , State of California, more particularly des-
cribed as follows :

All
All that portion of Lots 2 and 3 in Block 1 of Henry L. Williams
Tract, in County of San Bernardino , State of California as per
plat recorded in Book 11 of Maps , page 17 , records of said
County, described as follows :
Beginning at the intersection of the prolongation of the easterly
line of said Lot 2 with the westerly prolongation of the northerly
line of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter, Section 21
TlS, R3W, S.B.B. &M. , being a point in the, west boundary of the
City of Redlands ; thence southerly along said west boundary to the
southeasterly corner of said Lot 2 ; thence northwesterly along
the southerly line of said Lots 2 and 3 to the southwesterly
corner of said Lot 3, said southerly line being also the northerly
line of 50 foot wide A.T. & S,F. R. R. right of way; thence
northerly along the westerly line of said Lot 3 to an inter-
section with the said westerly prolongation of the northerly line
of the SW quarter of the SW quarter, Section 21, TIS, R3W, S.B.B.
& M. ; thence easterly along said prolongation to the point of
beginning.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this day of
1964 .
