RESOLUTION O. 2375
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ACKNOWLEDGING
THE RECEIPT OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE A PETITION FOR TIE
ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEX NTO. 2111 AND AN AFFIDAVIT
OF PUBLICATION THEREOF AND APPROVING TFM CUT-ULATION OF THE PETITION.
WHEREAS, on April 29, 1964, there was filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Redlands a copy of a notice of intention to circulate a petition
relating to annexation of certain territory to the City of Redlands, under
the Annexation Act of 1913, pertaining to territory designated as "Annex
No. 21,11 accompanied by a -written statement containing reasons for the petition
together with an affidavit of publication of said notice in the Redlands Daily
Facts and the San Bernardino Sun; and
WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the legislative body
may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of the notice and approving the
circulation of the petition;
NOW,, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands:
1. That the receipt of the notice, statement and affidavit is hereby
acknowledged,, and that approval is hereby given for the circulation
of the petition for annexation of that territory designated as
"Annex No. 21311 twenty-one (21) days after the publication of said
notice and statement.
