A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 22 " TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS
BE. IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS :
WHEREAS , on the 16th day of June , 1964 , the City Council of the
City of Redlands did pass and adopt Resolution No . 2384, giving notice of
the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Redlands ,
said territory being therein designated as "Annexation No. 22" said reso-
lution describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be anne ed ;
and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No . 2384 did contain a notice of the day,
hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests
made by any person owning property within the territory proposed to be
annexed, the time of said hearing being not more than thirty days from the
date of passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of July, 1964, at the thour of 7 :00 P.M. in
the Council Chambers in the Safety Hall of the City of Redlands , County of
San Bernardino , said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in
said Resolution No . 2384 for hearing of protests to the said annexation, the
said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed
annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners
of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as shown
by the last equalized assessment roll nor by public and private owners of
one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as determined
by said legislative body ; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Redlands , and
is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino ;
NOW THEREFORE, the said City Council of the City of Redlands does
hereby approve the annexation hereinafter described to the City of
Redlands , and does hereby further resolve that the said territory be and
is hereby annexed to the City of Redlands.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Redlands
is herein approved, is all that territory situated in the County of San
Bernardino , State of California, more particularly described as follows :
All that portion of the north one-half, Section 13, Township 1
South, Range 3 West in the County of San Bernardino , State of
California and described in whole as follows :
Commencing at the northeast corner of south one-half, Section
13 , thence along the north line of south one-half of Section
13 , south 89030 ' 34" west , 200 feet to the true point of
beginning
Thence along the said north line , south 89030 ' 34" west 5030, 29
feet , thence north 0°32 ' 14" west , 216. 09 feet, thence north
77001 ' 01" east 1378.89 feet to the beginning of tangent curve
concave northerly, with radius of 30, 100.00 feet , and central
angle 3°04 ' 56" , thence easterly along the arc of the said curve
1619.23 feet ; thence north 73056 ' 05" east , 2186. 43 feet thence
southerly along a line parallel to and 200 feet distant from the
east line of the said Section 13, south 0045 ' 17" east 1494 . 05
feet to the true point of beginning. 99. 06 Ac.
