A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 38" TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS:
WHEREAS , on the 2nd day of July, 1968, the City Council did adopt
Resolution No. 2691 declaring the intention to annex certain property
designated as Annexation No. 38 under provisions of the Annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1.939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to
35325 of the Government Code of the State of California, and
WHEREAS , on the 9th day of October, 1968 the Local Agency Formation
Commission of the County of San Bernardino did approve annexation of
this property to the City of Redlands under Resolution No. 269 and
designated as LAFC #638, and
WHEREAS , this property to be annexed is owned by the City of Redlands,
and,
WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Redlands, and
is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino)
NOW, THEREFORE, the said City Council of the City of Redlands does
hereby approve the annexation hereinafter described to the City of
Redlands, and does hereby further resolve that the said territory be and
is hereby annexed to the City of Redlands .
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Redlands
is herein approved, is all that territory situated in the County of San
Bernardino, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the northeast quarter of the northeast quar-
ter of Section 22, Township 1 South, Range 2 West, San Bernardino
Base and Meridian, in the County of San Bernardino, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Section 22; thence
west, along the north line of said Section 22, a distance of 300
feet; thence due south a distance of 300 feet; thence east to the
east line of said Section 227 thence north along said east line
to the Point of Beginning.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th day of November, 1968,
