HomeMy WebLinkAbout2757_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 2757 A RESOLUTION APPROVINS THE AXNRX101ON OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 40" TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS BE !T HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RELA_ DS - WHEREAS . on. the 6th day of May, 1969 the City Council did adopt Resolution No. 2753 declaring the intention to annex certain property designated as Annexation No. 40 under provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set Earth in Sections 35300 to 35325 of the Goveznment Code of the State of California, and WHEREAS . on the 28th day of May. 1969 the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Bernardino did approve annexation of this property, to the City of Redlands under Resolution No. 355 and des-- ignated as LAFC 4747, and did authorize the City to proceed without notice and publication a8 permitted in Section 54797 . 1, and WHEREAS , one hundred percent of the property owners consent to and reque8t this annexation, and WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Redlands, and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; NOW, THEREFORE, the said City Council of the City of Rediand8 does hereby approve the annexation hereinafter described to the City of Redlands, and does hereby further resolve that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Redlands , That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Redlands is herein approved, is all that territory situated in the Coun- ty of San Bernardino, State of California, more particularly described as follows: The south 340 feet of the southwest quarter of Lot 21 of Barton Ranch as per plat recorded in Book 6 of Maps, Page 19 thereof, records of San Bernardino County, State of California, and more particularly described as follows ,, Beginninq at the intersection of centerline of Citrus Ave- nue, 80 feet wide, with tho existing westerly City Limit line, thence westerly along said centerline of Citrus Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of. 80 foot wide Kansas Street- thence northerly along the centerline of Kansas Street to its intersection with the north line of the south 340 feet of the southwest quarter of Lot 21 of Barton Ranch; thence along the said north line easterly to its intersection with the westerly City Limit linel thence southerly aiong the westerly City Limit line to the canterline of Citrus Avenue and the Point of Begin- ning, ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of june, 1969, ATTEST: City of ddlands Ci ' erK APPROVED FOR FOPRIM.- jZ_Edwayd F. r City Attorney
