HomeMy WebLinkAbout2780_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 2780 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 43" TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RE ELANDS WHEREAS , on the 16th day of September, 1969 the City Council did adopt Resolution No. 2772 declaring the intention to annex certain prop- erty designated as Annexation No. 43 under provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to 35325 of the Government Code of the State of California, and WHEREAS , on the 22nd day of October, 1969 the Local Agency Forma- tion Commission of the County of San Bernardino did approve annexation of this property to the City of Redlands under Resolution No. 435 and designated as LAFC #817, and did authorize the City to proceed without notice and publication as permitted in Section 54797 . 1, and WHEREAS , one hundred percent of the property owners consent to and request this annexation, and WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Redlands, and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; NOW, THEREFORE, the said City Council of the City of Redlands does hereby approve the annexation hereinafter described to the City of Redlands, and does hereby further resolve that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Redlands . That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Redlands is herein approved, is all that territory situated in the Coun- ty of San Bernardino, State of Call-fornia, described as follows: West one-half of the north one-half of Lot 22, being a portion of Barton Ranch as recorded in Book 6 of Maps, Page 19 thereof, records of San Bernardino County, State of California, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the centerline intersection of Citrus Ave- nue and Kansas Street, both 80 feet in width, said point being on the existing corporate city limits of the City of Redlands; thence southerly along the centerline of Kansas Street, south 10 01 ' 15" east 661. 13 feet to the southwest corner of the west one-half, north one-half of Lot 22 of Barton Ranch; thence easterly along the south line of said north one-half north 890 32 ' 42" east 660. 25 feet to the southeast corner of the west one-half, north one-half of Lot 22; thence north 10 01 ' 04" west along the east line of said west one-half 660.89 feet to a point on the line of present corporate city limits and centerline of Citrus Avenue; thence along the centerline of Citrus Avenue south 890 33 ' 56" west 660.40 feet to the Point of Beginning.
