That the Council' s reasons for proposing to in"l-tiate said annexation .roc tidings are as follows- 'The annexation- of the herein- after descrIbed territory will contribute to the ord&,r1y.1...'growth of the it4 y, prcv1de the prober coni:rol of street layout, ddraitiacj6, sanitary sewer de-sign and insure the proper use of "Land in cmformity with the overall plan of the city. 3. ADOPTED, SlWNED AND APPROA7ED this l8th day of "PU 1 y 1972 f C. ayo 1-3 Y _Re nds CiEf� rk EXHIBIT "A" For Annexation No. 49, City of Redlands All that real property in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of California Street, a street 82. 5 feet wide, and the centerline of Interstate Highway 10, as described in that certain deed to the State of California, recorded on April 11, 1961 in Book 5400, Page 222 of the official records of San Bernardino County; thence northerly along the centerline of California Street to its intersection with the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of Lot 5, Block 6, portion of Henry L. Williams Tract, as recorded in Book 11, Page 17, records of said County; thence easterly along the northerly line of said Lot 5, Block 6, to the northeasterly corner of said Lot 5; thence southerly along the easterly line of Lot 5, Block 6, Henry L. Williams Tract, and the southerly prolongation thereof to the centerline of 60 foot wide Lugonia Avenue; thence easterly along the centerline of Lugonia Avenue to the northerly prolongation of the easterly line of Lot 3, Block 3, portion of Henry L. Williams Tract, as recorded in Book 11, Page 17, records of said County; thence southerly along the easterly lines of Lots 3 and 6, Block 3, portion of Henry L. Williams Tract, and the southerly prolongation of the east line of said Lot 6, to the centerline of Interstate 10; thence westerly along said centerline of Interstate 10 to the point of beginning.
