HomeMy WebLinkAbout2977_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO, 2977 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO- 49" TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THF CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS : WHEREAS, on the 18th day of julyp 1972 the City Council did adopt Resolution No. 2969 declarinq the intention to annex certain property designated as Annexation No, 49 under provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to 35325 of the Government. Code of the State of California, and WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of August, 1972 the Local Agency Forma- tion Commission of the County of San Bernardino did approve annexation Of this property to the City of Redlands under Resolution No. 1194 and designated as IiAFC 4795, and did authorize the City to proceed without notice and publication as permitted in Section 54!91; 1, and WHEREAS, one hundred percent of the property owners consent to and request this annexation, and WHEREAS, said territory is contiquous to the City of Redlands, and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; NOW, THEREFORE, the said City Council of the City of Redlands does hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter des- cribed to the City of Redlands, does hereby further resolve that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the Ary of Redlands, and in compliance with the LAFC resolution of approval, the territory is detached from CSA 38, CSA 70, and Improvement Zone A of 470, without split of assets or liabilities, That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Redlands is herein approved, is all that territory situated in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, more particularly des- cribed as follows: All that real property in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows ,, Beginning at the intersection of the centorline of California Street, a street 82, 5 feet wide, and the centerline of Interstate Highway 10, as described in that certain deed to the State of California, recorded on April 11, 1961 in Book 5400, Page 222 of the official records of San Bernardino County; thence northerly along the centerline of California Street to its intersection with the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of Lot 5, Block 6, portion of Henry L. Williams Tract, as recorded in Book 11, Page 17, records of said Countv; thence easterly along the northerly line of said Lot 5, Block 6, to the northeasterly corner of said Lot 5; thence southerly along the easterly line of Lot 5, Block 6, Henry L. Williams 'bract, and the southerly prolongation there- of to the centerline of 60 foot wide Lugonia Avenue; thence easterly along the centerline of Lugonia. Avenue to the north- erly prolongation of the easterly line of Lot 3, Block 3, portion of Henry L. Williams Tract, as recorded in Book 11, Page 17, records of said County,- thence southerly along the easterly lines of Lots 3 and 6, Block 3, portion of Henry L.
