HomeMy WebLinkAbout3361_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3361 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 53, LAFC NO. 16830 To THE CITY OF REDLANDS . BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS : WHEREAS, on the 4th day of January, 1977, the City Council of the City of Redlands did adopt Resolution No. 3212, declaring its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory contiguous to the City of Redlands , designated as Annexation No. 53, under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to 35325 of the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS , on the lith day of May, 1977, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Bernardino did approve annexation of this property to the City of Redlands under Resolution No. 1279, designated as LAFC No. 1683, and did authorize the City of Redlands to proceed without notice and publication as permitted in Section 54797. 1; and WHEREAS , one hundred percent of the property owners consent to and request this annexation; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Redlands and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands does hereby order the following: 1. That the territory hereinafter described be and is ordered annexed to the City of Redlands , subject to full compliance with the findings and conditions set forth in Local Agency Formation Commission Resolution No. 1279; 2. That the reaular County assessment roll will be used for tax puyposes ; 3. That the affected property will be taxed for any existing bonded indebtedness and/or contractual obligations equally with the property within the City of Redlands ; 4. That the subject territory is hereby detached from CSA 38 and Improvement Zone G of CSA 38 without split of assets or liabilities ; 5 . That said territory, the annexation of w-bich to the City of Redlands is herein approved, is all that territory situated in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, more particularly described as follows : .................................. All of Tract No. 8810 recorded in Book 130 of Maps, Pages 92 and 93, in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Mariposa Drive with the most easterly City of Redlands boundary line as shown on said Map; thence north 1029 '15" west, 230 . 90 feet; thence south 65024'28" east, 341.02 feet; thence south 62046 '13" east, 487.05 feet to a point on a curve, said point having a radial which bears north 54'04 '14" west, said curve being concave northwesterly and having a radius of 460 feet; thence southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 19'05 ' 35" an arc distance of 153.29 feet to a point; last said point having a radial which bears north 34058 '39" west, thence south 1029 ' 15" east, 205 .59 feet; thence south 83017 ' 19" west, 111.50 feet; thence north 76007'03" west, 115.00 feet; thence north 600111001, west, 468.15 feet; thence north 1029' 15" west, 199. 18 feet to the point of beginning. 6.6 acres (LAFC No. 1683) ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of June, 1977.
