A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR ANNEXATION NO. 56, LAFC NO. 1953,
TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS AND SETTING PUBLIC HEARING THEREON
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands did adopt Reso-
lution No. 3594 declaring its intention to annex 86 acres of property
contiguous to the City of Redlands, bounded by the existing City Limits,
Citrus Avenue, Redlands Boulevard, and a line 660 feet west of Alabama
Street, and
WHEREAS, on September 12, 1979, the Local Agency Formation Commis-
sion of San Bernardino County approved LAFC No. 1953, Annexation No.
56, an inhabited annexation containing 27 registered voters to the City
of Redlands, and
WHEREAS, this annexation, designated LAFC No. 1953 , was initiated
by the City Council of the City of Redlands by adoption of Resolution
No. 3594 to bring the benefit of city services to the area and to pro-
vide zoning and land use control to land within the City's zone of
influence, and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands will comply with all requirements of
the Local Agency Formation Commission as outlined in Resolution No.
1587, i .e. adhere to the boundaries as approved; detach the property
from CSA 38 and CSA Improvement Zone G, without split of assets or
liabilities; and detach the property from CSA 70 and CSA 70 Improvement
Zone A, without split of assets or liabilities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE !T RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands that Public Hearing on this annexation will be held in the
Council Chambers at 212 Brookside Avenue at 7 : 00 P.M. on Tuesday,
November 6 , 1979 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that written protests against said annexa-
tion shall be received by the City Clerk of Redlands prior to and during
said public hearing. Written protest by landowners shall contain
identifying descriptions of the property owned; protests by voters shall
contain the residential address of the voter .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of October, 1979 .

If no numbering system is in existence within the proposal, so state and list below any information that would be helpful in locating
registered voters.
The County Planning Department can aid proponents in locating street numbers in unincorporated areas.
