A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS APPROVING
THE NAMING OF VARIOUS CITY PROPERTIES LOCATED IN SAN TIMOTEO CANYON
WHEREAS, m 2010, the City Council of the City of Redlands approved a Conservation
Easement Deed m favor of the Redlands Conservancy for various city properties located m San
Timoteo Canyon, and
WHEREAS, m July 2016, the Redlands Conservancy's Board of Directors moved to name
the properties more particularly described m Exhibit A which is attached hereto and mcorporated
herem by this reference, and
WHEREAS, the naming of the properties with a fonnal name will encourage users to
appreciate the fragile nature and essential value of the property as the teen "sanctuary" does not
exclude human use, but donotes a special place where the human visitors are the guests, and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows
1 That the City Council of the City of Redlands names the subject properties as the
"San Tunoteo Nature Sanctuary"
