A RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF REDLANDS
REQUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION TO
TAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF INHABITED
TERRITORY
ANNEXATION NO. 60-A
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands desires to
initiate proceedings pursuant to the Cortese--Knox Local Government
Reorganization Act of 1985 , Division 3 , commencing with Section
56000 of the California Government Code, for the annexation of
territory hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS , the territory proposed to be annexed is inhabited,
and a description of the boundaries of the territory is set forth
in Exhibit A attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein; and
WHEREAS , this proposal is consistent with the sphere of
influence of the affected city; and
WHEREAS , the reasons for this proposed annexation are as
follows : The annexation of the hereinbefore described territory
will contribute to the orderly growth of the City, provide the
proper control of street layout, drainage , sanitary sewer design,
and insure the proper use of land in conformity with the overall
plan of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, this Resolution of Application is hereby
adopted and approved by the City Council of the City of Redlands ,
and the Local Agency Formation Comission of San Bernardino County
is hereby requested to take proceedings for the annexation of
territory as described in Exhibit A, according to the terms and
conditions stated above and in the manner provided by the Cortese-
Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985 .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of June, 1986 .

Beginning at the intersection of the East line of Government Lot 9 of Section 12, T.2 S. ,
R. 3 W. , S.B.M. with the South line of the City of Redlands City Limit line; thence
Easterly along last said line to its intersection with the West City of Redlands City
Limit line; thence Northerly along last said line and continuing along last said line
following all of its various courses to its intersection with the centerline of Interstate
Highway 10; thence Easterly along last said line and continuing along last said line
following all of its various courses to its intersection with the Northerly prolongation
of the centerline of Knoll Drive; thence Southerly along last said line and continuing
along last said line following all of its various courses to its intersection with the
Northeast prolongation of the Northwesterly line of Lot 10 of Tract No. 3457 as recorded

to its intersection with the Westerly right-of-way line of a bridle path; thence Southerly
along last said line and continuing along last said line following all of its various courses
and its prolongation thereof to its intersection with the centerline of Alta Vista Drive,
thence Southwesterly along last said line to its intersection with the centerline of
South Lane; thence Southerly along last said line and continuing along last said line
following all of its various courses to its intersection with the North line of Tract No.
9962 as recorded in Book 151 of Maps, Pages 32- 34 in said County and State; thence
