A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
APPROVING ANNEXATION NO. 60-B TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS
LAFC NO. 2341
WHEREAS , on September 18 , 1985 , the Local Agency Formation
Commission of San Bernardino County, following the appropriate
proceedings , approved LAFC No. 2341 by adoption of Resolution
No. 2007 , which approved Annexation No . 60-B (area generally
located south of City limits , with Edgemont Drive traversing
the northeasterly portion of site) , an uninhabited annexation
subject to the following conditions :
1 . The conducting authority for this proceeding shall
be the City Council of the City of Redlands .
2 . The boundaries are approved as set forth in
Exhibit A attached hereto.
3 . The following distinctive short form designation
shall be used throughout this proceeding : LAFC 2341 .
4 . Approval is hereby granted to proceed without
notice , hearing, or election with 100 percent
consent of the property owners .
5 . Included in the City' s resolution depicting final
action shall be the detachment of County Service
Area 38 (Fire Protection) , Improvement Zone G of
CSA 38 , County Service Area 70 (county-wide) , and
Improvement Zone A of CSA 70 (weed abatement)
without split of assets or liabilities .
6 . The date of issuance of the Certificate of
Completion shall be the effective date of this
annexation .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redlands does hereby order the following :
1 . That the territory hereinafter described be and is
ordered annexed to the City of Redlands , subject
to full compliance with the findings and conditions
set forth in Local Agency Formation Commission
Resolution No. 2207 ;
2 . That the regular County assessment roll will be
used for tax purposes;
3 . That the affected property will be taxed for any
existing bonded indebtedness and/or contractural
obligations equally with the property within the
City of Redlands ;
4 . That the subject territory is hereby detached from
County Service Area 38 (Fire Protection) , Improve-
ment Zone G of CSA 38 , County Service Area 70
(county-wide) , and Improvement Zone A of CSA 70
(weed abatement) without split of assets or
liabilities; and
5 . That said territory, the annexation of which to the
City of Redlands is herein approved, is all that
territory situated in the County of San Bernardino ,
State of California, and particularly described in
the attached Exhibit A.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of October, 1985 .
