A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR ANNEXATION NO. 60-C, LAFC
NO. 2342 , TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS AND SETTING PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON
WHEREAS , on the 18th day of September , 1985 , the Local Agency
Formation Commission of San Bernardino County approved LAFC No. 2342 ,
Annexation No. 60-C, an inhabited annexation to the City of Redlands
(an area generally located south of the intersection of Edgemont and
Sunset Drives , south Redlands Area) , by adoption of LAFC Resolution
No. 2008 ; and
WHEREAS , the City of Redlands will comply with all requirements
of the Local Agency Formation Commission as outlined in LAFC Resolu-
tion No. 2008 , i .e , adhere to the boundaries as approved , detach the
property from County Service Area 38 (fire protection) , Improvement
Zone G of CSA 39 , County Service Area 70 (county-wide) , and Improvement
Zone A of CSA 70 (weed abatement) without split of assets or liabilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Redlands that public hearing on this annexation will be held in the
Council Chambers , 212 Brookside Avenue, at 7 :00 P.M. on Tuesday,
December 3 , 1985 ;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that written protests against said
annexation shall be received by the City Clerk of the City of Redlands
prior to and during said public hearing. Written protest by landowners
shall contain identifying descriptions of the property owned.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of October, 1985 .
